This is totally not the month/season for Korean boybands.

As gathered from random news in omonatheydidnt: DBSK's three members and a major lawsuit. Super Junior's Kangin caught in a DUI and hit-and-run incident. 2PM losing their leader Jaebum. And now some kid from Shinee caught the swine flu.

Someone must really hate them and is cursing them, or they all really just have bad luck. XD

In other news, I really thought I'd be continuing my manuscript today, but no. I ended up writing three sentences and screaming "SCREW THIS!" while closing the document screen. But I did organize my school work files and freed 0.5 gb in my hard drive.

Later, I'm watching Public Enemies and Blood: The Last Vampire. The former because Johnny Depp is there, and the latter because I wanna poke fun at it.

So yesterday I went out with Oya and Dudi, frolicked around a mall being the adiks that we are (woohoo!), and ended up rubbing my nose off with tissues when I got home. Boohoo. And I did say I was going to finish my manuscript today and tomorrow. But how could I recall my summer practicum experience when I'm feeling so horrible?

But apparently I'm not feeling horrible enough not to watch random things on YouTube :D. I'm letting A Moment To Remember buffer, and I'm re-watching random things in my favorites list. Videos: very good cures for colds.

In other news, I just found copies of 100 Years of Solitude and a collection of short stories by Gabriel Garcia-Marquez! In my own house! Woohoo! Now I'm off to find Like Water for Chocolate because I know it's lying around here somewhere. Saw the book cover in Power Books last week, and I just know a book like that is lying around in our house. And I kept thinking this whole time that it was a Filipino cookbook. Haha.

Goddamit, when the hell am I gonna start doing anything productive? Granted, I'm given the time to slack off and be lazy in general, but two days of laziness is driving my brain into insanity.

I could be drawing gift art, continuing my stories, fixing my LJ layout (which I can do now because of my recently acquired HTML/CSS knowledge!), but what am I doing? Refreshing my Facebook for updates, re-reading articles that I've practically memorized by heart, testing my typing speed (which is still around 70 wpm), downloading Super Junior's Sorry Sorry album and Super Junior M's mini-album, and watching random clips of Kyuhyun on repeat. But I'm letting myself off on the last one, because HE IS JUST TOO CUTE FOR WORDS.

It's been six weeks since I last wrote in this thing. For a good reason though. I'm starting to get really sick of writing. Looking back, I can't believe I used to fill up the pages of cheap notebooks as a hobby when at this point in time, I spend more time staring into my blank Word document than filling it up with words. Maybe I still like it, deep inside. Maybe I still have the skill for it that other people have always seen in me (though until now I still don't know what their bases are). But for now, I'm gonna cram down most forms of writing in a storage box inside a safe kept underground.

It's just like...cake. You like cake, so on special occasions when the time is right and you have the resources, you buy cake. But when you're forced to eat it almost 24/7 for 6 months, you'd rather not eat cake for a very, very long time.

Well, now that it's semestral break, and that the only things I'm waiting for are announcements of whether or not I failed two classes, I'm going to try and read more stuff. My literary repertoire is better than most, but I still need constant supply of new books. Mwahahaha. Plus I managed to save a measly p1600 pesos this semester, so I'd probably use it for books. I wanna buy Ivan Turgenev's First Love or Spring Torrents. Or Like Water for Chocolate. Argh. I need more classic literature.

Of course I have to finish What I Talk About When I Talk About Running, then read A Picture of Dorian Gray and FINALLY finish Pattern Recognition. At least now I can read books and not just use them to get myself to sleep. Haha.

I think I've become adequately random for now.

Life's been way a bitch right now, so much that I couldn't even get time to rant about how much of a bitch it is, until now. Good thing one of my classes got canceled. I was hoping to read the newest Naruto chapter, but meh. It's not up yet. Huhuhu woe is me.

It's kinda obvious that I have nothing to talk about. Why is my life so busy yet uneventful? @.@
