Reason One why I can hardly become a writer-on-demand: I absolutely hate reading my own writing, school stuff in particular. Oh sure, going back on journal entries is something I do on blue moons, but reading back on old essays and short stories? It's like recording a nightmare and playing it all over again, watching in sick fascination. Same reason why I find it hard to write a draft and edit it, because most of the time, I would cringe, sob, wince, and clutch at my head rolling on the floor before I could even bring myself to read my work. Maybe it's a matter of disbelief - "What kind of shit have I been drowning on when I spouted this out?" kind of disbelief. I've never been a great writer, but sometimes it's so atrocious it's unbearable.

And it's the same reason why I've been here for fifteen minutes while my previously typed Word document is on stand-by. Keep standing, loser-face!

My left foot hurts. I woke up this morning feeling like my entire left leg was screwed on the wrong way. After a few stretching exercises, it felt fine, but now I feel like the bones on my foot are all jumbled. Oh, foot. If only you were an engine I could tear apart (I'm not praying for it though, cause that'd be weird).

In other news, the first week of school has passed peacefully, new dormers are a handful more than I thought, and I'm watching Sengoku Basara to justify my wallpaper. It's pretty cool, and it's got me interested in Japanese history all over again, especially the Sengoku Jidai. Date Masamune is funnily weird, spouting random English all over the battlefield. And was it specifically mentioned anywhere that Uesugi Kenshin was feminine in appearance? I mean, they got Gackt to play him in Komyo no Tsuji. In Sengoku Basara his voice actor is Romi Paku and his appearance is undeniably feminine. All the ukiyo-e I've looked up portrays him as some stout, burly general.

Not really complaining here, but it makes me feel like I'm watching yuri when an Uesugi and Kasuga scene comes up, haha. It doesn't help that Uesugi's headress-thing makes him look like a nun.

And yes, I am not doing my homework despite the prophetic image of me breaking down into tears at the end of this semester. :D

AT LAST!! My sleep is complete again.

I shall snag a quote from Mr. Todd, for FINALLY, I am finished with all my practicum locations! Done! Over with! And I have a whole week before I go back to school again, so I hope I can do a lot of stuff in that week! Like...

... finally finish Only the Ring Finger Knows
... watch a whole j-dorama series
... study a bit for the JLPT and find application sites
... make sketches for all my in-development stories
... read all the books I've bought as birthday gifts to myself
... have a one last hangout blast with friends

Well good luck to me-self, then.

How are your summers going? :D
By the way, add me up on multiply. There's not much there, but definitely more pictures.

Third day of training! Three more days left this week and six more days in all! *boogies*

Well, it's not like I hate my third OJT, it's actually pretty cool, since it's a different environment from what I'm used to. But hey, who likes work anyway? It's just that I really want a vacation right about now, and it's still some time before I get it. Oh woe is me.

Once I finally get some time, I'm going to draw concept art for the stories that me and a couple of guys from OJT came up with. Stupidity abounds, but hey, they might evolve into something worthwhile. And hopefully, I can draw them on that PRECIOUS Kokuyo sketchbook over at Fully Booked! I am SO determined to get it for my birthday! And I've been thinking of getting a William Gibson book too, Pattern Recognition sounds really interesting.

Well I should probably be getting ready for work.

So, OJT at Hero TV has finished, and I'm trying to remember what happened each day (by typing it up into a progress report), but it all just seems to blur into one period of laughs, nervous wreckage, and sleepiness. Haha.

God, I really should have kept a journal for this.

In any case, I still have one more OJT to go to, but that's only for a week and a half. I'm pretty scared because I'll be working alongside my uncle, which is always an awkward time. And I'm going to be the lone intern in there, so yeah. But at least it's only a week of sadness (quite possibly). It's enough retribution for the whole month of fun I spent at Hero :D

Early morning and I think people are mad at me cause I only notified them of the photoshoot just now. :XD: Well, it's not really going to continue for final. I'm just preparing things just in case.

Still, I guess it would have made a difference if I did this last night (texting people all around), instead of drifting off to sleep.

I don't think I'm grown up yet. Or will ever be. I'm too idealistic and drifty. I'm always working on spur of the moment. I accept and do work based on my Like-and-Dislike scale. I believe in people too much, that they're good inside, and that the Golden Rule applies to everyone. This summer is slowly unraveling itself as one that would make me rethink how much I believe in the world.

ARGH!! Soul Eater on Chia-Anime is so effing slow! The time it takes to load one episode is thrice the time it would've taken me to just watch the anime. I'm thinking I should just download the damn episodes, but when I see my laptop huddled in a corner with its LOSER disk space, I digress. Or maybe I'll do the download-->immediate obliteration approach.

God, I am still on the search for the ultimate Shujin-only spot here in my house, and totally failing. It used to be my room, but my mother decided to invade it by watching Koreanovelas for the whole day (the only working DVD player is in my room). And I cannot work when I can hear Koreans babbling away. My uncle's room was also a viable spot; however, he's now staying over for the week. Plus, the wireless reception over there is horrible, and the cats keep on chewing up the laptop chord. So now, here I am at the terrace, where the reception is excellent, the air is cool, and nobody comes to bother me.

TOTALLY WRONG ABOUT THE LAST PART! The parental units keep coming out and doing nothing, staring into space and just being plain eyesores. I don't even get why they have to go out here, of all places. And I really have this complex about people hovering over me whenever I'm working. You know how people just have to eat their meal in even-numbered bites, or leave the house while turning the lights on and off? Well, that's how I am, I have to stay in a room with absolutely no people when I'm working. Urgh. Must fight the urge to do some soul-meisting.
